So, when Desenio gave me a healthy budget to buy some prints I was really delighted to finally be able to jazz up our slightly lacklustre hallway space and my newly decorated study. Whether you like Scandi or quotations, drawings or abstract, maps or nature, bold or monochrome, you are sure to find prints to fit your taste at a very accessible price point. Not only are they really good quality and very cheap but they also make some really eye catching and well thought designs in a fabulously huge range. Well to my mind you can’t really go wrong with a collection of posters online from Desenio. There are places that you can get cheap wall art but where you also know your purchase won’t feel unique to you – I think we all know a particular and rather brilliant Swedish furniture company I’m aiming at here, they do many things very, very well but when it comes to artwork I don’t want to find my latest purchase in the living room of someone from Eastenders! (not that there’s anything wrong with soap interiors, per se, it’s just that my childhood self has never quite got over sharing my wallpaper choice with Ron & Bev from Brookside!). But I always want something a bit more abstract than my own family (sorry guys!). But how do you approach a great big space like a hallway wall to add personality? Some people fill these walls with family pictures which is a nice way of personalising a space. Small collections and items grouped within a theme work well in small areas to add interest, and once you know wha t you want are fairly easy to complete.

Here is it! I went with an asymmetrical layout that is still balance and a great compliment to this open space.I t hink wall art has got to be one of the hardest things to get right in a home, it’s a constant dilemma for me, it can be hard to find just exactly what you want, especially on a budget, and most of us don’t want to wait 15 years till we’ve acquired pieces with meaning before we can cheer up a hallway or a blank wall area. Once I have all of the pieces hung…I go through with my level and use some museum putty to secure the frames to the wall. Once I have a starting point on the wall, I start with once piece and work my way across using my level as a spacer in-between each piece. Then, I transfer those measurements on to the wall. Once I decide on the layout, I measure the widest point horizontally and longest point vertically. Laying it out helps you to visualize what the overall design will look like and allows you to make decisions before committing. I like to lay my design out on the floor first to make sure I like the proposed layout. Here are the supplies you are going to need to hang a gallery wall. Remove the acrylic glass so that you can remove the protective film from both sides and place back into the frame. The prints were beautiful and the frames were just as beautiful and extremely lightweight plus…assembly was so simple, check this out!įlip the frame over and swing the latches out from under the edge of the frame to remove the back. My order arrived very quickly, and very professionally wrapped. As I picked out each print, an option would pop up to choose a frame that fits that specific print size in various finishes. When shopping on Desenio’s website…the process was seamless.

I made sure to pick a variety of sizes and stuck to two different frame finishes…white and natural oak.

Gallery walls are such a great way to add mix of art prints into any space. Since this wall sits right next to our bar area I wanted it to have a fun, entertaining feel to it so I picked a mix of colorful, prints to create a gallery wall. The last item on the list was to add some color to this blank, white wall. Hello there!!! I am so excited to be partnering up with my friends over at Desenio to design this DARLING gallery wall! We moved into our home 2 years ago and the one room that is now complete is our dining room. This post was sponsored by Desenio.all opinions are my own.
